My new friend.

This is my new friend, Turner. Yes I actually named the exercise bike. D3 is embaerassed but really she's 18 yrs old and should be well past the point of being embarrassed by stuff like this.
I started off Tuesday with two 1.5 mile rides .... after which my legs felt like jello. Yesterday one 4.5 mile ride while knitting. I'm trying to work up to 1 hr of peddling time every day so that should take a while. Just think of all the extra knitting time I'll get in!

lol....Turner will be a good friend to you. I miss having my exercise bike. We got rid of ours due to lack of space. One of these days I'll have the room again, but for now the kids dominate the space. :)

I have something that looks just like that in my house, except it's a clothes hanger. :)

I never thought of knitting while bicycling! Brilliant!

Turner looks like a lot of fun! I hook up my mountian bike to a stand when I don't use the treadmill or do a bit of aerobics. I can read on the treadmill, but I haven't tried knitting there! Love all the sock yarn you got too!

Thanks for visiting my blog. The gloves/mitts were fun and easy, and now, after all the snow we just got, I'm sure my Sister will get some use from them.

Have fun on your exercise bike. I bought a treadmill right after having knee replacement surgery, and I walk every day. It's good for you, and I'm sure it will make you feel better over time too. Have fun. :)

What a good idea!!!

Unfortunately, I sweat like crazy when on the bike--I would ruin too much knitting and too many books if I tried to read or knit while riding. I'm stuck with the tv.

Don't ya just love that Trekking 100 you're using?

An hour every day? Argh!!!! I thought about that but figured I would find excuses to not do it as an hour is hard to find some days. Miss a day here and a day there and it's all too easy to give up. I settled on 20 minutes a day and find that doable and have been able to stick with it even with schedule changes.
