Stitch markers. When you have a 12 stitch repeat you need a lot of stitch markers. I have a ton but
I just love these for lace knitting. They don't snag like my split rings and don't get stuck in the yarn like most of my hand made markers.
I didn't need 25 calls of cotton yarn for lace knitting but it was on sale for 99 cents a ball. $24.75. Can't pass up a bargin!

I like the little rubbery rings myself that Clover makes. My daughters and my niece have made beautiful stitch markers for me, but I never use them for my lace knitting because of the snagging thing. Looks like you are going to be in the wash/dish cloth making business soon. I hope you and the grandkids are feeling better.
lol....I had heard that Michaels had dishcloth cotton for .99. I have to drive 60 miles to get to my nearest Michaels. I don't want it that bad...lol.
I use either the markers that you sent me :) or the ones I've made myself depending on the yarn and pattern. Nice loot too, by the way.
They never have all those great colors in the Michael's around here.
I envy you with the dishcloth yarn. I have to drive 1 hour 20 minutes to get to a Michaels. Bummer! My DD makes me the cutest stitch markers that I use. I like your shawl, it's beautiful.
Those Clover markers are the only ones I use in my knitting. Good catch on the Sugar and Cream, you never know when you might need a new washcloth :-)
