What's wrong with this picture?

Still have a ton of leaves on some of the trees but notice the snow on the deck. Yup gonna be one of those miserable leaf raking seasons where the leaves weigh a ton because they are wet. In addition it'll be cold once they all fall making it worse.
I'm about 16" along on my 3rd attempt on the scarf for you ISE partner. This one is a keeper for sure. It's being working in a lovely alpaca yarn. I've decided that I just love knitting with alpaca. It's so soft that you just can't put it down.

I can't see the leaves in my backyard right now....they're under a few inches of snow. :)

I'm not ready for the snow, but we are supposed to get some here in the next couple of days.

That alpaca scarf looks super soft and warm! YUMMM!!!!!!

Gorgeous tree and that light dusting of snow looks charming.

Let me see, you still have leaves on your tree in late November and you want me to feel sorry for you?

:) Just kidding, I do know what you mean even though we haven't had leaves on ours trees here in MN for weeks. My lilac bushes hold their leaves forever, until the first snow fall and I agree, raking up those lilac leaves is not easy.

Congrats on the new job. I hope it goes well. I too work from home and just love it. The option is open to others I work with but they all seem to prefer the office environment instead. Boy, I can't understand that at all.

I love the colors in that tree. Plus it goes well with the scarf. Alpaca makes such a nice, warm scarf.

I have a maple in the back yard that is just as determined, it seems, to keep it's leaves too. Right now they are bright yellow, but soon, they too will fall. It is inevitible, after all.

I love your "greedy charity knitting" idea. If you are going to be doing it, you might as well be knitting what you want to knit most. Otherwise it will feel more like a chore than charity. Good job, and your baby socks are adorable. :)

I think the last of our leaves are falling this week. The trees are sparsely clad for certain here.
Alpaca is my favorite too. Add a touch of merino to it to help keep its shape a bit better and I am one happy knitter.
