What do you do

when you projects in progress pile looks like this? And you haven't even started 2 shawls that you really want to make?
Well, you spend $40.50 on some noro in color #40 for a booga bag for yourself.

I had little Missy A this weekend while her parents and brothers went camping in Rhode Island. We had a lot of fun. Boy, babies are a lot of work! How did I ever do it with 4 myself? Probably easier when you are much younger with more energy.
"What do you mean you might be out of bannanas? Gram, tell me it isn't true?"
"That's better, old lady, and don't keep me waiting again while you take stupid pictures."

The Noro looks lovely, well worth breaking rules for.

Have fun with the young lady! My son loved bananas too when he first started eating solids. no baby cereal for him.

LOL that picture is classic where she's questioning the bananas. I love it! And that's a really gorgeous color of Noro - I'm not sure I've seen it before, but had I, it might have even tempted me enough to knit with it again ;) I hate how that yarn feels, though it does knit up beautifully!

I usually use the same solution to my knitting problems. I find there are very few problems that more yarn can;t solve. Your grand is adorable.

Wow, you are one busy lady. The shawl is gorgeous, and I'm sure your niece will adore it. I really love the green and tan socks too. Very nice indeed!

The photos of your granddaughter are precious. Your captions are perfect!

Have a great day :)

Ha ha, that's right, feed your stash and the baby! Seriously, though, you've got nothing to worry about. You should check out knit 'n' lit's blog; she has about 7 pairs of socks going right now, and maybe that many sweaters. Crazy (in a fun, knitterly sort of way!)
