Yet another cute kid story

N just turned 4 in February and his mom has been teaching him to read. He has known letters, colors, and numbers for quite a while so this is the next step. N is very interested in reading so he's catching on very fast.

D1: What kind of juice would you like from the store?
N: Yellow grape juice.
D1: You mean white grape juice?
N: No. I want the yellow grape juice. I want the juice that's yellow not white.
D1: Ok, I'll put it on the list.
**She write white grape juice on the list that's on the fridge**
N: W Wh Wh ..... hey that doesn't say yellow!
**D1 is now wondering "WHY THE HELL DID I THINK IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO TEACH HIM TO READ?"***

lol, too funny....the joys of having smart kids. I can't spell out stuff I don't want my daughter to know anymore. :)

LOL..........I got a chuckle on this one. Mom won't be able to pull anything on that smart kid! I have to laugh with you.
ON another note: Do you knit at night? how do you possibly get so much knitting finished. I think I knit just to knit. No purpose except to feel lovely yarn through my fingers and my needles clicking.

Funny! Whoever said literacy is always a gift has never been a mother who just found out she can't spell things to keep them secret anymore.

LOL And it just gets worse, it seems as if spelling out loud wont work much longer either!!
