Plans for my newest yarn addition .......

Last year I did a lot of socks for CIC. This year I'm going to try making some sweaters. I found this pattern . I have short attention span with my knitting so this will be challenging. At least figuring out the different yarn stripes should keep me interested.

Anyone have any other interest kid sweater patterns size 2, 4 or 6?

You might want to check Bernat.com and Lionbrand.com normally have a good selection of freebies. I'm planning on using knittingfool.com for my daughters sweater.

I have knit a sweater using her generator. And then I plug my colors into a random stripe generator and keep hitting enter until I find one I like. You can make many sweaters using the same colors that look totally different.

if you find some good patterns pass them along, because I am always looking for things in those sizes for my boys :)

No kid sized sweaters, sorry. Good luck with your CIC project plan though!

And about falling off the "no stash enhancement" wagon... I never actualy said I wouldn't, I only suggested it in the spirit of having money available to buy opera tickets and ballet tickets and symphony tickets... Still, I feel like a bit of a traitor! (Wait until you see what I bought now! I have the willpower of a 4-year-old.)

Delurking to share this link for kids sweaters: http://stitchesofviolet.blogspot.com/. Her free patterns are in the right sidebar, just scroll down a bit. She has 2 sweaters, some socks and a vest I believe.

I enjoy your blog.
